Goal Manifesting

Goal getter!!! This week, think about a goal you have in mind that you’d like to achieve!

When we think of the goals we have, it is beneficial to ask ourselves; is this aligned with who I am? Is this on the path to where I want to go, who I want to be?

By asking ourselves these questions we get to become more clear on our vision as well as narrow down which goals are our priority.

For example, I’ve had a goal of learning how to play piano before… because I thought it would be a cool and interesting thing to be able to learn, was I passionate about it? Nope. Was piano playing part of the person I wanted to become? Nope. But I enjoyed the outcome of practicing, so I just did it in my spare time and made other things a priority.

I love action plans!! If you coach with me, you already know I am an advocate of having a ‘next step’ in place that will take you closer to your goals and desired feelings.

Let’s make an action plan.
1) Think of your goal you’d like to achieve
2) Write down ALL the things you think you will have to do in order for this to be reality.. in any order.
3) break these tasks down even more. Be specific with numbers, amounts, categories.

Once you’ve done this, now answer these questions below while looking at your list.

By breaking things down into bite size pieces, it makes the goal seem more achievable and that is the whole idea of this exercise… to get you believing you can achieve it

This is where the determination, the grit of change, growth and expansion come to play! Every step towards your goal requires a different version of you; the closer you get to your goal, the more growth you’ve experienced. (Isn’t that such a beautiful concept?)

Here are some questions you can ask yourself to help with this question:
-What are 3 things I am saying NO to this week?
-What are 3 things I’m saying YES to this week to get me closer to my goal?
-What could possibly come up this week that may derail my progress? And how will I bypass or over come this?

By setting intentions on what works for us, what doesn’t and what to do when something comes up will help us stay focused and on track

What is something measurable that you can think of that will let you know you have reached your goal?

I love this question because it helps you think about what it is exactly you want to achieve.

Let’s say, being fit is a goal of yours. Great! How will you know you’re ‘fit’? What does being fit mean to you? Maybe it’s running 5k, fitting into an older pair of jeans, walking stairs and not be out of breath, seeing muscle definition. These things are measurable and will also help you narrow down what it is you want to work on in your workouts; cardio, weights, nutrition etc.

INSPO-ACTION- When you reach your goal you thought about all week, how will you celebrate?
